I’ve also got a brand new freeThesis Skin that I’m calling Thesis Sharp. It features a widgetized header area for banner ads and social media icons and a widgetized fat footer. It also have cool fading background images for the body of the site as well as several sidebar classes. After several months of being completely wrapped up in my 9-5 job working through the integration of a new software package, I finally have some time again to devote to my websites and design projects. Since I launched the Wuffo Red & Navy Skins for the Thesis WordPress Theme back in February, a lot has happened. Several new and even more powerful versions of Thesis have been released and the Thesis community has greatly increased (now 12,000+ sites are running Thesis) so now seems like a perfect time to launch some new killer Thesis Skins.

That being said, I’d like to ask the visitors to this site to tell me just what kind of skins they’d like to see. Thesis is powerful enough to pretty much replicate any site out there so just leave a comment and let me know what you’re looking for. If you’ve got a specific site in mind, provide a link and that will really help! Looking forward to hearing from everyone and to pumping out some new free Thesis Skins for everyone!

Wufoo is the first free skin for the Thesis Wordpress Theme that I’ve designed and it comes in two vibrant color schemes, Red and Navy.

The customizations are contained entirely in the custom folder so no core Thesis files need to be altered. All you need to do to add this skin is download the skin color that you want and upload the custom files to your custom Thesis folder.

The Wufoo skins are free to the Thesis Community. The only requirement is that you already have a copy of the Thesis Theme for Wordpress. If you do not already have a copy, you’re missing out on a lot. Come join the fun and Get Thesis today!

Installation Instructions

First of all if you’ve already made changes to your custom.css and custom_functions.php files, I recommend saving a copy on your computer for archival purposes. Now the installation is really pretty simple. First of all you’re going to download the skin modification files and unzip them.

• Download Wufoo Skins (Inlcudes Red & Navy)

Your download for this skin will contain 3 files:

• custom.css - CSS file that contains all style declarations.
• custom_functions.php - Custom functions that rework page layout w/hooks.
• stripe2.png - The background image.

Next you will upload the custom.css and custom_functions.php files to your thesis/custom folder and the stripe2.png file to your thesis/custom/images folder.

And that’s it. The Wufoo skin will now be applied to your Thesis powered site.
